The folks in Uptown are hopping mad at the thought of $29 million of their property tax dollars going to JDL Development to build a luxury high-rise across the street from Lincoln Park (the $36 million referenced in the flier includes $9 million for the rehab of a park district field house).
And they’re making some noise. They will rallying Monday night, April 22 at 7pm at the Weiss Hospital Auditorium at Clarendon and Wilson Avenue.
